Randomness At Its Peak (Work Stress?)

*cackles* Time for a little amusement. *stirs pot*

Ok, lately I'd been using the witchypoo scenes when I'm...a little off, normally in the head. Hahahah! Looks like this place can definitely do with an update if not more. *looks around* I seriously should do up this little space. *looks at other people's blogs* How do they make it so nice? T.T Me = No blog deco savvy + no patience to do it + no time (for now). But I like that globe...that's the only thing I like currently. Hahahah

Right, this makes me wonder....I'm ranting...or so I think....at least the first paragraph is (no no, you see my finger pointing at the group of words there? Not the one liner). *silent* .... Anyway, what's the point of a blog? (Yes, I'd asked before) I see people ranting (mostly), updating their live stories (the gungho ones), and selling things (the smart ones..that is IF anything does sell). Great....now what?

*pauses* .....

Just in case you are clueless with what I'd been up to (of course you are), I'd been ___(insert ALL of the following given options here)____:

1. To an interesting entreprenuer dinner party. (Yeah, that's why you see some photos of me in a rare get up on facebook)
2. Having exams. (3months slaving to study 2 subjects...time will tell the end. It better be good!)
3. Going back to work. (Just restarted this week and I wish I may resign already. = = I suppose I get bored fairly quickly. Then again I'd been working for my employer on a flexible basis for....2.5years at least? Anything that goes beyond 2.5years means it'll stay. This theory is possibly applicable to anything.)
4. Kendo tournament and normal trainings. (Certain days just makes it....feel healthy no matter how painful it gets. Hahahah Sadist.)

And I will be ____(insert....really now..you just don't have a choice)____:

1. Going for a leadership camp the next 2 days in Port Dickson. (With a bus of strangers. I'm serious.)
2. Returning to full time studies next month. (I wasn't? Hahahaha)
3. Participating in some entrepreneur challenge. (Hm....what more can I get myself into? Hahahah)

*looks back up at title* Ah yes....wondering why did I refer to work stress. Because.....it's accounts people's peak period. See that PEAK and this PEAK? xD Sorry, I just come from a family that loves to play with words. Probably the pros and cons of knowing so many languages:

1. You play with them.
2. You mix 3 languages at least into one sentence and pray the other knows what you're talking about. If they give you the blank look, just try the other 3 languages together.
3. It sounds funny when it means so-and-so in Language A but gives a totally different meaning in Language B. Better still if the meaning makes it silly to process.

*another pause* ......

*does a shudder dance: shudders to the left, shudders to the right* Now you know perfectly why you won't find me in discos or any nightclubs. I dance funeny. xD

*thought of a car going round and round at the roundabout because the passenger just can't tell which way to go* Yeah...something like that happened before. xD

*pause* ....

*yawns, mood dying down* Phew....a load of random rubbish that was. I'm probably lacking lots of sleep. = = *shudders to bed*

Conclusion: Monkey mind.

Of Stilettos...More or Less

Case 1
Last week, I spent time studying in university until...well...past dinner time mostly. It was a rainy day and one those rare days when I parked inside campus (normally don't since it'll cost me a parking fee).

So I paid the parking fee and was leaving. The guards decided to open up the non-barrier side of the exit. In this case, they would normally walk up and take the paid ticket from anyone leaving. Must have been one of their blue moon days too, they didn't take the ticket from me and just waved me out. Result: I have one paid ticket unused.

I thought...maybe I could reuse it another day and save another RM2...or maybe let someone else have it. Someone even suggested that I sell it for a lower cost. @@ Well, I ended up using it...or tried to. I had only RM2 in my pocket today after lunch. So I decided to try my luck with the paid ticket and keep the RM2 in my pocket...for the rest of the month?! Unfortunately, the machine rejected the ticket and I had to pay up for the unpaid ticket (I took another one on my way into the carpark). There goes my RM2. If only I could forsee the future last week and saved RM2. Nooooooo!!! T.T *grumbles*

Case 2
Time flies. Today I reached university around...no idea, I didn't really notice but definitely before 2pm. I studied a bit until psychology friends finished their class and we went for lunch together. Return to study around...3pm? Studied on and on...I didn't really flip many pages...and it's 5pm already! Time really flies. If anyone can ever see Time, I bet it must be riding a jetplane. = =

Case 3
It's probably 6pm or reaching 7pm.. Some function was about to spark off in the multi-purpose hall of the university on the 4th floor. So you see lots of girls in cocktail dresses and boys in shirts and ties walking pass the foyer towards the lift.

(Note: If ever you were in such positions as those girls and guys, think twice before you judge yourself imperfect or too perfect. I turned my head to look at EVERYONE and not at any particular person. You all look ok. Though if you saw me turning away really fast after looking, then you're probably not worth looking for long. *wince*)

I find it odd...most of the boys were wearing black or dark gray. There was no hint of colours. But they pulled it off well to not make it look like a funeral party.

The girls...took my breath away. Well...not them really, it's their shoes! They look like they can KILL!! x.x They seem so sharp...like stakes! >.o So imagine groups coming one after another. Everytime I turn to look at the girls, I'll get this...fainting feeling. It was definitely distracting me from my studies with the parade going on. (excuse...)

Well, I decided to pop upstairs to see what's going on, but the hall was dimmed of lights so I couldn't see much but I believe they were getting their...so-called buffet. And I enjoyed my way down 5 flights of stairs and journey home~

'Bob'ed

Hm...I'd been fussing about my hair for a bit. So I decided to go for 'snip snip' this afternoon. Hairdresser asked how I wanted my hair, I gave my opinion...but...the result was not as expected.

I wanted something like what he did for me previously. A very anime'ish look. The *cough* bishie sort. (For non-Japanese comic/animation people, bishie is just our term of a good (if not HOT~) looking guy and his sexual preference is of no matter to us at all. xD) Somewhere between the lines of, 'long front, short back'. But somehow I figured what got in to Hairdresser's head was a totally different idea. I suppose any hairdresser living on Earth at this precise moment would assume what I wanted was a 'bob' cut.

Anyway, I would not mess with the Hairdresser. His moods can effect the way he curves the blade~ Definitely not a good idea to mess with him, and not when my hair is at stake! So today I would deem his mood...good. I think he even had fun with the electronic razor. But...at one point, it felt like he had an 'oops' period although he didn't say anything. Such professionalism...

End product, it's a bob with a steep decline at the back. My front and sides are...untouched, so still long and suppose to cover my ears but it's so hot!! Grr.. Eh...my mom liked it. Everyone at home likes it? (Although my aunt asked why didn't I get rid of the front too) I'll...get use to it. In any case, it'll grow back. xp

Well, the razor cut parts are definitely nice to play with. @@ Some girls in Kendo even played with it after training. Oh yes, Kendo. Here's the thing, I wear this helmet thing with a cloth that covers my head. So the only part of my scalp left to see if actually the razor cut area. A training mate, Aimi, actually thought I was a guy since she couldn't see the rest of my hairstyle with all that getup on. xD Other fellas also commented on how short it was at the back. ^^'

Well...now it feels like all I have to wash and comb is the front. xD Kidding. Of course I wash the whole scalp. = ='ll Unfortunately I have no skill or jelly-arms that allows me to take a picture of the back of my head, so I'd decided to put up a "special picture". (especially for Kendo people)

MKA's beloved Mr Yap and his cute sport shoes~ xD

Sorry if the picture's blurred. I took it with my handphone camera in a hurry. =p  Hope you enjoyed it. xD

Not Something I Want To Try Again....Ever

It seems very much like my blog is crying out to me to post SOMETHING!!! The guilt is there...but laziness overrules. Besides, I hardly have anything in mind to talk about...at least nothing special enough. So today I bring you 'special news @ 11.50pm'. (At least that's what the monitor says the time is. Oo)

After a long while, I'm back at work. So for the first two days of the week...my job scope included 'kuli'. I had tonnes of exercise from shifting documents from one floor to another, to the car and arranging them at my boss's house. By the time I'm done, my brain is already threatening to shut down as if I'm running on emergency reserves. Unfortunately, I had something extra to attend to on both nights.

Last night was a Deepavali dinner. Nothing much. Mainly cookies, main course and television. In fact it was the same for the other Deepavali dinner I went for on Sunday. ^^'

Tonight was a little different. After work I had a so-called seminar to attend organised by ACCA. I took the monorail down and...I didn't really know my way (for once I was not really bothered about memorizing the map before hand). The monorail people didn't help much and their map just coincidentally did not label the building I wish to head to. So I decided to take a walk and ask for directions along the way. I arrived at my destination without much hassle.

I was early and a little worried about my stomach. Me being on a tight budget was being really stingy about spending at any of the nice restaurants within the building. Thank goodness there were refreshments (though lacks quality) and I couldn't care less about helping myself to the free servings, even if it meant exercising my soft skills with the registration lady and getting stares from the people outside.

The "crowd" slowly came and I decided to test my networking skills too. The mingle thing... It wasn't a total failure but neither did it go as well as I hoped it would. Next, seminar was suppose to end at 9.30 though registration lady did mention that it would most likely end earlier. Assumption: around 9pm. Just 30 minutes more, I can wait.

Oh yeah...my handphone battery died very much earlier. So here's the thrill. Seminar ended at 8pm. I wanted to contact my uncle to come get me so I don't have to wait so long. Go out to the counter, asked the guy if there was a public phone around. He says, "No. Go out." Now...it sounded like he was shooing me off. I thought of going back to borrow the registration lady's phone but she was busy.

Ok...since it's only 8pm, maybe I can take the train all the way back to PJ and call my uncle with a public phone when I find one along the way back. As I was walking towards the monorail station, no phones were in sight, the sky was dark and rumbling and I was...pretty much alone (due to my walking speed as well as off working hours). So I started feeling...paranoid. The phones at the station were useless too.

I went on the monorail and I passed Sg Wang...thinking, maybe I should go visit my friend. Maybe she can help. But I hesitated and missed the stop. My paranoia was getting worse. I mentally kicked myself and got off at Times Square. Tried the phones...no work and even ate up my coins!!! Grrrr!!!

Last resort...I went to DiGi and requested that they charge my phone for few minutes. Managed to get my uncle and I waited for his arrival. My phone battery decided to start dying again when he was about to reach. Now...I'm probably just glad to be home and trying to shrug off the remains of the horrid paranoia.

Lesson: Always bring along a charger just in case.

The Coffee Place

Wednesday evening (yes, the previous post was typed on the same Wednesday I’m mentioning here. Just to let you know in case the previous post confused you enough xD) before Japanese class, me, Kar Yee, her cousin brother and her brother was looking for a place to eat their dinner and my snack in Damansara Uptown. Hahah! We peeked at a cupcake cafe. Wow! It was trendy but expensive. So we left to check out another place.

The Coffee Place was rather simple. They served home-made western food with quite a variety of sandwiches and all-day breakfast sets. They even have a ‘Made Your Own Breakfast’ set. Cool! Unfortunately the menu didn’t have desserts. The waiter/owner? was friendly too. He even took the trouble to set the food nicely according to each of our order even though the table was already cramped up with Kar Yee’s laptop. Really nice. =)

I ordered a breakfast set and had tea to come along with it. It was ok. Simple really. Kar Yee and her brother had the same thing, sandwiches with fries. I had one of Kar Yee’s sandwich. It tastes really good! ^^ They drank white coffee and ice lemon tea respectively. (Note: I think Kar Yee was playing around with her coffee or just taking the extra pack of sugar home...whatever it was....she was high for AT LEAST 30minutes before class. Seriously high that it was dangerously contagious) Her cousin brother had spaghetti. Couldn’t get feedback about it from him though he did order 2 glasses of latte and mentioned that the coffee wasn’t strong. Good for non-regular coffee drinkers, like me. =p

Overall, just...simple and nice. ^^ We’ll definitely be heading back there again. Anyone interested, the cafe is just along the shoplots where CIMB Weath Advisors are. =3

Unexpected Visit

(Note: This post was typed out on a Wednesday night but due to internet connection failure, it could not be posted at the right time. Therefore, sorry if my days confused you. What happened on Wednesday was a confusing event anyway. Hahahaha!)

Just yesterday (Tuesday) I was thinking to myself that...on Sunday I actually dreaded going to work on Monday...but on Monday it was actually ok...then yesterday I forgot I worked the day before and therefore thought it was Monday until my boss corrected me...and after work I started to miss work and wish I could work more days. And today...my boss decided to bring the whole firm (the firm only consists of 4 people including myself) over to my house unexpectedly!! Such Law of Attraction... However, the visit was not due to work.

The past few days I heard that my boss would be bringing out the only other girl in the firm, Ms Oon, to do a special assignment today. While I was changing and getting ready to go university to do my self-studies, I got a text message from my boss..and that’s when everything started going crazy! The scenario went like this:-

Boss: *sms* oon come 2 yr hse now. Ok? (I copied the sms literally)
Me: *thinking* Eh?? For what?? Oh...maybe she can finally drive his manual car and is on her own for the assignment. Now...why does she want to come to my house?
*calls Boss* Eh! Why she coming over??
Boss: Ah! We bringing dessert. *Background: Ms Oon laughing*
Me: (Oh..so he’s with her. Bet the only person left, Matthew, is in office) Dessert??? What dessert??
Boss: Cendol. We come over ok ah?
Me: Uh...ok. (But I don’t like Cendol...) Where are you?
Boss: Nearby only.
Me: Oh ok..

So I waited by the door to see what would pop up and what they were seriously up to. I also informed my aunt who was suppose to send me out and do some bill paying chore after that...she was a little impatient with the news. My grandma was there too, so she heard that they were coming...she thought my boss is going to drag me off to work. Either way, it wasn’t good. My grandpa was asleep..UNTIL they came. My sister was eating really late breakfast in her PJs unaware of their due visit. We all shared the same feeling though...confused. Why the visit?!

I expected...ok...if it’s really dessert, maybe it’s something they like to chuck away extra stuff for convinience sake or something else...but it revolved around passing to me and leaving immediately. What I didn’t expect was what was really going to happen:-

From afar I see the car...I had a bad feeling. Then I saw that my boss and Ms Oon weren’t alone, they brought Matthew as well so that’s the whole firm! Oh no... Then they parked and they all got down! Oh No... When I opened the gate they all marched in and took off their shoes and stepped into the house! OH NO...Adrenaline rush.  I rushed into the dining hall and quickly informed my sister that she may need to create space for the guests to sit. My sister’s turn to “Oh No” though her reaction was bigger: What??? But I’m underdressed and eating my noodles! WTH! *rushes into kitchen to hide with her noodles*

I stood in the middle of the dining hall eying them cautiously as they enter.
Matthew: * pass me bags containing food* Here.
Me: What’s this?
Matthew: Cendol and Laksa (actually it was rojak)
Me: Who is it for?
Matthew: You?
Boss: *stands infront of Mathew* Eh...no. Matthew got the wrong information. The food is for us.
Me: *confused* Is the food for me or what?
Boss: Us.
Me: Have you eaten?
Boss: No.
Me: *still confused* Ok....have you eaten?? *the background seemed chaotic at that moment since my grandpa woke and introductions were made or...more confusion was made*
Boss: No.
Me: Ok...

Then finally it hit me...ARGH!!! THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO EAT THEIR FOOD!!! GAH!!!

So my aunt and me tried to prepare the food for them in a hasty and confused manner while my sister was shooting ridiculous questions at me:

Sis: Eh...the tall guy like you ah?
Me: No. He has a wife la! *meant my boss*
Sis: Eh...no la. I was talking about the younger chap. (she was talking about Matthew)
Me: What?? No la. @@ Why are you asking me such things la??
Sis: No la I though he does mah. *giggling*
Me: *was also laughing thanks to the already existing confusion and my sister’s nonsense* Eh! Stop laughing la! *trying not to shake the bowls half full of Cendol  I was carrying out of the kitchen*

Finally, after the food was settled. I shifted my accusing stare and finger at those three....

Me: Which one of you came up with the idea to come here?

They just looked comically at each other and of course...it was obvious. It was...MY BOSS. *groans* I gave them a warning of 15minutes and they should leave after that as I needed to go out already. So why did they come? Because they had 30minutes to spare in between assignments. = =’ll My house became a lepak place...  After 5 minutes, they left. Good riddance. I just couldn’t decide whether to laugh or cry the whole time.

However, I’m grateful that they dropped by no matter how inconvenient it was. It was a funny episode. Hahaha! Thank you! And sorry for halau’ing you all. xD Poor Ms Oon looked so uncomfortable. XD

At the bus stand..

The last few days have been rainy but the cool weather helps from other hot days. Makes one rather lazy actually, be it at home or at work. One would not want to get up for the day's work (actually, I'd just been sleeping late. Hahaha! Didn't even notice the rain until I got out of the room) nor do much brainstorming assignments during office hours (besides, it's end of the week and holidays! >p). Well, it's rather nice so far.

To add to it, after work I decided to sit down with the office lady for a drink while she waits for her husband to arrive at the train station. Normally, I would just rush back home and her husband arrives on time. The chitchat was mainly her part. I just did the listening and random acknowledgments, not to leave out the food of course. =p (Odd...the egg tart had a gelatin layer on the top. Oo)

Heard her talking about her experiences in school and social work. Quite interesting that a lady like her actually been manage to enjoy so many events though she seems to lead such a simple life. Well..it's an ordinary life of course, but somehow...it's like watching a movie of someone's life..or the synopsis at least. Hahahah! Made me think about my true view on helping people. Ah yes, helping people. A mute man came over to our table to sell handcrafts made by disables. Got something really pretty for my aunt. Better remember to hand it to her. =p (*go presents it to her, comes back* T.T it got rejected. Next, try my mom. xp)

Soon it was time to go back. Took the LRT and spent my time reading again. (Nowadays I try as much to find free time to read or my pile of books would never decrease. >.<) It was all very passive in a way. Passive as in...it felt like an ordinary day where you go to work, spend time travelling to and fro, reach home and etc. So you end up not experiencing your surroundings much. But a little cat just helped changed that. Was walking out to the bus stand to wait for my pickup (uncle =p) when I saw it laying on the floor nicely. Seeing it just lighten myself instantly although it was merely a picture of a cute cat.

Then I took a seat at the stand. Just begin to notice things. The people around me. An MPV full of children and few adults taking to for a trip balik kampung or something. Didn't manage to count how many kids. But I do wonder if they all belong to that ONE couple. @@ Noticed the odd looking structure that is destined to be a house. The light above me wasn't working and the lady beside me had difficulty reading, but I couldn't see where the switch may be. How a girl waved from the car and calling out to her friends to wait a little further up. At that moment...I felt like Forest Gump! (Or at least the way I sat made me feel so. I had my briefcase in replacement of the box of chocolates. xD)

This little moment at the bus stand made my innards feel fuzzy. Just out of something so simple and ordinary.

Summaries Summaries Summaries

Very sorry for the long absence and even more for dropping my birthday updates. I just decided that I'd delayed too long to make it...relevant anymore? Haha Besides, updating the pictures were a hassle. *coughexcusescough* ^^

Just a summary though, I got quite a number of hugs!! Yay!! Thank you all huggers. xD Apart from that, I got some nice gifts too. ^^ Some most wanted books, $, neat sets of perfumes (now I don't need to get any for the rest of my life. It might just turn into a hand-me-down item seeing that I never use perfume. xD), and so on....oh yes, must mention...waterproof Uno cards!!! >D *hiss* preciousss.... >p

Hm...actually, my memory is very foggy now. But I do remember dad taking me for karaoke with the other family members at Redbox. @@ And of course, an international call from Australia. You know who you are. xD Hm...a great crazy surprise celebration from mom and friends. That was really crazy. xD I laughed so hard that I literally hurt myself (got few bruises on knees from falling onto the floor laughing). Last was a late celebration from Akumas. An interesting steamboat dinner with great catchup time. ;) (Psst..if I leave anyone out, I'm sorry. But I really need to take time to recall. >.<>

Next, besides my birthday, I'd enjoyed several outings with most loved people. A trip down south to Melaka was one of them. Hm...it was rather challenging actually which probably resulted in me recovering from weariness for a couple of days. Just recently was another karaoke session with the girls. Should have videoed us dancing to Bollywood songs. xD xD Hilarious!!

*smiles* I just noticed...though apart from my constant thoughts, I am quite content at this moment. It feels so relaxing....and I should probably thank a gay man for it. xD *cough* You didn't read that. *grins, runs along humming~*

21st B'day : Wishes

It's the beginning of the week...just few more days and by Friday, it'll be it. Yet I sitting here with no plans made just yet for the big day. Oddly I don't seem very bothered (probably I'm just too tired from working spree). But I'm gonna be thick skinned and list some things I want. =p (Hey, it's my 21st. So I get to ask for specifics no? xp) Kekekekeke

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What I really want:~
A simple hug from everyone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

*cough* I have a feeling it might shock many. But I'm just being honest. =) Besides, it's priceless to me and costless to you. ;) It's a win-win situation! >D And I'll try and keep count of how many I got. =D ^^ (psst...other gifts are a bonus. ;p)

21st B-day: [Chinese B-day] ~ Temple Hop Hop (Part 1)

[Note: This post pops up as an earlier post as I was typing this out in June actually. But I posted a later entry first. So yeah... >.<]

So now I start a collection of blog entries all about my birthday. How vain~ xD

My first celebration was a month ago actually. On 12th June 2009. Nah, I wasn't being desperate by fast forwarding my celebrations but merely utilizing more time. xp Besides, it was really my birthday, based on the Chinese calendar of course. (Note: To those who do not know how a Chinese calendar works, the months normally come earlier than the English calendar...actually...I do not know how it works either. Sai hei.. xD) Kekekekeke. =p

So...my Chinese birthday celebration was celebrated with my mom and a friend, Grace. =) We went temple hopping. Whee~!! ^^ By the way, there's lots of pictures. So the post would be split into two entries... *grumbles* What a hassle to rearrange so many pictures. xp

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plans were made a week before though the idea popped up....probably months ago or even years? Hahahah. Woke early in the morning that Friday and got ready, feeling rather enthusiastic although slightly sleepy (it's normal xp). Mom came over and picked me up, then we headed to the market to do last minute shopping. <.<>.> =p Bought lots of prayer stuff and headed to our first destination. =D
Wat Chetawan!!
It was a rather large area but very peaceful. =) So we did our prayers and took some pictures as you can see below. I don't have a picture of Grace 'coz she's shy. ^^' Oh yeah, there's hardly any pictures of gods or goddesses in my entries 'coz...it just seems so hard to load them in. @@
Pics: (Top) Me and mom taking pic with a granite? elephant.
Mom accidentally blocked the elephant. >.< (Second row, left) Main hall. A father and son doing their prayers. =) (Right) A smaller hall housing statues of wise men and gods. (Bottom) There are many small birdys around. This is one of them perched on the fan blade in the smaller hall. So fat~ x3
Before heading off to our second location, we dropped by at this temple, Kuil Sri Sithi Vinayagar, beside SRK SJS (I think I got the school name right. Oo) at Old Town to buy some flowers. =)
Look closer at the structure. There are lots of nicely carved figures there. Real neat works. =D Next, we paid a visit to my god-father's place. Did a quick prayer there and got lots of oranges to feed fishes (see pic at Bukit Jalil Park). Hahahah!!
Further at Old Town, we spent a little time for breakfast (yeah, we were running around with an empty stomach @@) before heading next door to the pet shop and bought lots of fish food, bird seed, birds and a couple of tortoises. Hm...did I leave anything out? Don't think so.
Off to Taman Bukit Jalil with birds chirping in newspaper bags and tortoises crawling around in another bag at the back seat with Grace.
At the lovely park, we went to the side of a pond and I let out the tortoises for them to live FREE~~ Whee~!! xD The tortoises are polite. They seem to know that you're letting them go so they pop out of the water and STARE at you awhile. (I hope they aren't feeling otherwise. xp)
Next goes the birds. Should have seen them fly. It was a nice feeling but you won't want to know what's left in the bag...shyt. Hahahahahah!! Last thing to do there was to feed the fishes. I forgot how many bags of fish food we bought but it was definitely not enough for all. T.T Poor fishies... A minor part of the park was under construction too (one bridge), so it was difficult to feed the rest. =/ Oh well...
Grace had to leave for work so we dropped her back at Wat Chetawan to get her car before continuing our journey. Up next was Thean Hou Temple at Robson Hill. I took many pictures here but there were just too many to put up. So I'm only presenting some nicer ones. ;p
Basically this is a tourist attraction..really (I was playing tourist too. xp). So the place is really huge and well developed if not well kept. Hahahah The outside was rather disappointing actually or probably it was just too wide a space that makes it look really empty. But the interiors were ok not to mention the roof structures. =p Let the pictures tell you. Hahaha (Psst...sorry, the picture order may look messy.. >.<)
Pics: (Top, left) Me standing out in the open near the entrance.
(Right)
Mom posing at bottom of stairs near the tortoise pond.
(Bottom) Some pictures of roof structure. =D
Oh...this one is a horror. Zoom in on the picture above if possible and try counting the number of tortoises at the pond. I won't bother with the counting actually. Hahahaha Me and mom didn't want to go anywhere nearer to the pond. It stinks and it's overcrowded. >.<'ll Next are some pretty nature pictures to help you soothe your appetite after that ONE picture. xD
Pics: (Top, Left) A wonderful lotus bud we found at a corner of the temple. =3
(Right) Pretty flowers.
(Second row, Left) A mini fountain that looks almost like a drain. *cough* But it's still nice.
(Right) More nice lotus buds. (Bottom) A beautiful and rare white lotus. x3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Gah!! Blogger's been messing up my pictures so there are many missing. Sorry . =( ]

Stay tuned for Part 2.

Post-exam Period...What's Next?

I'm glad to say that my exams are over for now and I intend to take at least 3 months break and concentrate on my work. However...holidays started a little differently.

First, just a few days before my exams, I discovered an 'exchange student program' to Busan, South Korea. So I'm trying my luck. Therefore the first few days of holidays were spent fusing about the application, answering long questions and typing a 500 word statement. @@ Well, I hope it works. =x If I get through the interviews as well (that is if I'm shortlisted to get it), I'll be away from September to August next year. Yeah, it's a 1 year trip. It'll be nice. =) Now I just need to... *prays*

Second, I was suppose to start my full-time work with my boss....but....he's on a holiday. = ='ll Grrr... Good also. I get to spend time doing other stuff. xp

Third, what else have I been doing really? Random stuff....accounts, house chores, going out..a lil..etc etc. Ugh..I probably should go catch a movie. Oh!! And it's HORRIBLY HOT!!! T.T I want air-cond. *wails*

Well...that's all for the current update. xp *lazy to type*

My Medical History...Not Literally

Just decided to talk about an interest of mine. Science.

School Days

I love science. Seriously. I scored better in science than my accounts in SPM. I ponder about science stuff and hang out with science stream people, occasionally flipping through their textbooks. (Oddly I never touched their physics books >.<)

I was very much enthusiatic about science classes, especially the experiments and reports. Though put me in a pure science class and I could probably create havoc. I might just blow a test tub or two or kill something by accident, just to name a few. =p The closest to havoc in general science class was probably getting caught in huge amounts of bad gas (I don't remember the nature of it) and running out with a friend to cough, sputter and restore good oxygen (so-called, it's polluted but it was definitely better than that gas) to our lungs. ^^v

But...I didn't enter science stream 'coz I couldn't think of any possible careers within that field. I was wrong...but...probably a very very good choice anyway. Why? Read on. (Note: To those who have read about human errors in the medical field, what you are about to read may just give you the same feeling. Hahahah!)

Lady Torso

Today I was at a workshop where I learned about 6 healing sounds. Basically you just use your own voice to heal your internal organs. It's probably like accupuncture without needles. No pain, of course. Really easy, really good. But that's not what I want to talk about really.

Now, the speaker, Dr Jannie, a nice young-old lady. Haha I said young-old 'coz she's elderly but looks really good for her age. Cute too. =p She brought a mannequin named, Lady Torso. It's basically a model of the female body, inclusive of detachable organs. ;p She used it to show us, the audience, where each organ was. (Yeah, it was more than a sound workshop. It was anatomy class too. xD) And since they were detachable, Dr Jannie accidentally popped most of the organs out by accident when she propped up Lady Torso to stand straight on the table. xD All the organs fell out and on to the ground...ploop ploop ploop ploop~ xD

Dr Jannie's friend picked up all the organs and simply just chucked them on the figure without properly placing them back in. Yeah, it wasn't a nice sight. I won't want any of my organs looking like Picasso's masterpieces. Hahahahah!! So I got the chance to fix Lady Torso up. *grins* It was like playing Lego...though this was much nicer than Lego. xD I managed the lungs before I was diverted away and my mom took over.

She has about just as much interest in anatomy as I do but wasn't so sure with the body structure. So she took out EVERYTHING. xD xD xD When I got back... *jawdrop*

Me: Mom! What are you doing?
Mom: Oh. I just decided to strip her of her organs to have a better look.

@@ xD xD xD

We got most of the organs back in. The last part was tricky, where does the spleen go? We took quite awhile, figuring where to put it but we just couldn't get it. So I asked Dr Jannie's friend who was formally a nurse, what is the function of the spleen? She said it was almost useless like the appendix. So.... I decided, "Let's just leave the spleen out. Lady Torso doesn't need it." xD xD xD

Yup. That's why it was a really good choice that I didn't go in to science stream. I could've done some serious damage to my poor patients. xD

We got her back in one piece anyway. Yay! ;p Now I wish I could do that all over again. xD It was fun.

Theme Hospital

When I was younger, I use to play this "Sims"-like game, Theme Hospital. Basically you run the hospital, build rooms, hire doctors and other staff, etc. The game is really really cool. =D Plus it has some really sick jokes too. xD However, I could never finish the game. I always end up dying at Level 5 or something. =( Not surprising anyway at the rate how I'm running the hospital. xD

1. I work my staff to death. If they work slow, take too much breaktime, ask for salary increaments too often = I sack them. No excuses. xD

2. My patients can get really sick. That they end up vomitting all over the place and probably end up dying on a pile of their own vomit as Death comes for them. xD Yup, I probably have the highest death rate amongst hospitals. xD Sometimes I even have to send patients home just 'coz I don't have enough resources to cure them. They'll probably die on their way home. Oops... <.<>.>

3. I don't have proper building structure. Most of the rooms could probably cram up together and the patients might just get stuck at the corridor on their way to the toilet. xD

Well..I probably have more but the first is enough to ruin a real hospital. xD And it's probably why I'm in to accounts now. xD

So this concludes why it was a really good thing that I didn't enter in to science stream. xD You may all sleep soundly tonight. xD xD xD

Books~ And More, Of Course. =p

Books galore!! Yesterday there was a MPH warehouse sale (in fact, it's on until tomorrow) and wow! It was fantastic! Although the crowd was.. @@ There was enough air and dust for everyone and I'm pretty sure almost everyone was sweating there. But I'm still impressed with the tidiness of the whole place. I mean...the warehouse has been on few days before I visited and it's still so neat and rather book-finding-friendly. The prices were reasonable too. I found 4 books that I'd been eying on the past few months and I got another cute doggy-humour comic book as my aunt's birthday present (a belated one, of course). ^^v

At the entrance to the warehouse was like a bazaar. Hahaha There were so many stalls, selling ice-cream, drinks, fruits and even kebab! But most of them were mainly ice-cream stalls. It was a hot day. *nod nod* Hm...come to think of it, that road itself, almost every corner was a warehouse sale or a bazaar. @@ Amazing.

However, that was not the end of my book shopping. Hahaha I was dragged to Carrefour by my aunt in the evening and we ended up buying few more books. Yeah, book crazy! Hahahah It's like stocking up for winter, except you don't eat or burn 'em. =p It keeps me feel satisfied though. I got the books I wanted. ^^ Besides, I rarely buy books. I normally just window-shop. xp (Psst~ I have yet to visit Times's warehouse sale. xD Though I think I might let it pass. <.<>.> Hm...)

Ok, let's put the books aside now. There's something wrong with the computer lately. The fonts just turned bold or italic, mostly bold. It feels so...emphasized. >.<'ll I hope it turns back normal some day. T.T

I hope I turn back to normal too. It's official, I'm sick today. It's like someone just turned on the tap of my nose and forgot to turn it off. No worries people, it's flu but NOT swine flu. = ='ll Got some dry cough too. Really irritating. Anyway, it's official today because my body was threatening to fall sick the past few days. My sister was already sick then. *shrugs* And I have classes the next week!!! Argh~!! My mom made a comment that I was always sick before exams. I think it's just coincidence....I think. = =

Ok, time to take that medicine.... *hiss* By the way, thanks Yeen May, for the songs. =p I drove all the way to dojo just for them. xD

Departure; End of A Chapter

I owe this post to a dear friend. Sorry for the wait~! >.<

.... *smiles*

We all knew...it'll come sooner or later. Ahh...finally it is true...

He is going to leave.
He is leaving.
He left.

All we can do now is to carry on and pray we live up to his expectations. Also, we pray it'll be good...wherever he is returning to.

....

Ok ok. Time to turn the notch up. I can't type a sob sob post for too long. >.<'ll And to my dear readers...THIS POST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A FUNERAL!!! @@

This post is merely dedicated to Toyoda-sensei, an honourable Kendo teacher of Malaysia Kendo Association. Sensei (teacher) has no choice but to return to Japan last Thursday due to work, though we hope he would return for retirement. >D

So about last Thursday:~

Two days before, Mr Yap sent an email invitation to us regarding sensei's flight on Thursday. Then we made plans for transporatation after practise on Wednesday night. The plan was to meet up at KLIA at 8.30pm with everyone as the flight was at 10.50pm, so check-in time would be about 1.5hours earlier.

Thursday started with exams but since it was the last paper, I could enjoy myself more at KLIA. =3 Sis dropped me off at Mid Valley on her way to work after lunch. There I walked and walked and walked 'til I dropped (not literally la) in the shop and stayed there playing the piano, waiting for 4.30pm. Mr Yap picked me up...at this point I felt like a kid being picked up from school thanks to my attire and bagpack. He had to add, "I thought it was nursery, not school." T.T

Then we headed off to pick up Ms Wong from work. (Note: Mr Yap doesn't like driving in KL. xD) Her leg previously fractured is getting better. *nod nod* =) On the way to KLIA we stopped at a rest station for dinner since Mr Yap kept asking me and Ms Wong if we're hungry when he is starving himself. Hahahaha. Oh! This was the first time I witness Mr Yap eating so much. @@ (Note 1: He ordered Chicken Rice and Nasi Lemak at the rest station) You should count throughout this post, how many times we ate. Hahahahah!! (And normally, we thought he can't eat much due to allergy, blah blah blah...)

Since there was much time and probably cheaper petrol prices, or so the others commented during another meal in KLIA (Hahahahah!!!), we diverted and headed on an unsuccessful adventure (we had to u-turn back halfway due to traffic) to Gold Coast Morib. At KLIA, first thing...have ice-cream (Note 2) in McDs. xD xD xD

We walked around since the rest had yet to arrive, looked for a nice cushioned seat for Ms Wong to rest at before Mr Yap and I ventured into a shop selling chocolates. Uuuuu... the dark chocolate ferrero rocher. T.T I want...but so expensive. >.<>

Wong-sensei was hungry so he headed off to KFC while me, Ms Wong and Mr Yap waited for the others. From here onwards, Mr Yap kept sending hungry kendokas to KFC. xD xD The group turned up slowly. The ladies chat and gossiped among themselves while the men helped Toyoda-sensei with his luggage and all.

Mrs Toyoda's bag was an eye opener. It was huge and could stuff a few more handbags within (she had one inside), that it was difficult for her to even locate her own handphone. She had to put the bag down on the floor to get the job done too. @@ As for Toyoda-sensei, it seems that he drank a fair amount of liquor before leaving home. Must be upset.. =( He didn't really look at us either. Must be hard... Sigh.. At least he won't be alone on the plane, it would be harder.

The couple didn't stay long after checking-in. Shared a few words and took some pictures, then they were off. Most probably has something to do with Toyoda-sensei's condition at that moment. =/We saw them off and we dispersed. Rather short I say, but ok. =)

Before leaving KLIA, me, Mr Yap, Ms Wong, Linna and Amami had another meal (the one I mentioned earlier) at a cafe nearby, talking about Toyoda-sensei, Kendo and other stuff. (Note 3: Mr Yap ordered sandwich and muffin. @@) The trip home was rather quiet as well...couldn't tell what Mr Yap was thinking. We were tired and getting ready to start a new day.

Now...we just have to watch MKA's progress.

Earth Hour + Sou's Belated Birthday Celebration!

*switch off lights* Argh!! I can't see what I'm typing!! *typed gibberish, erases and retype much later* @@ *stretches and starts to think of what to type* Zzzzz....

Once upon a time, in a nice polluted blue green planet...actually, I just drove to Bernice's house, picked her up and headed down to Capsquare. HAHAHAH!! It's a fairly new place. I can estimate 99.5% of Malaysia's population have no idea about the place. (Note: Estimations are based on personal judgements. Please don't trust it. It is 200% inaccurate) Eh..the bazaar wasn't huge and there weren't many people around, though I think it would be rather packed at night during Earth Hour.

Before strolling at the bazaar, we paid a visit to Bernice's dad's work place. A splendid clinic with an amazingly good looking door for the JANITOR's room!! *shock* A neat place really but I don't think I'll go there. Looks too expensive. Hahaha. At the bazaar, met Suan (from Kendo) at the WWF booth. Seriously, those t-shirts were cute. If only they weren't expensive. >.< *recalls Panda t-shirt, sighs* T.T The shawl in another booth was pretty too but it was RM100 after discount. Uuuuu... T.T

Within the main building, there was like...an art exhibition? Lotsa interestingly creative pieces but unfortunately, for someone like me who doesn't know how to appreciate certain arts, I felt bored. Don't sue me. >.< The food at Betty's was good though I find it amusing that the first thing that catches my sight on my plate are the mushrooms and not the prawns since my meal was 'Spicy PRAWN Olio'. Hahahahah!

We left after that. Dropped Bernice back home and me off for my next appointment (waiseh..sound like so busy. xD). Picked up WW (yeah, I sound like some pick-up truck. Hahah =p) and headed to Sunway Pyramid. There we (satu gang la. Not only me and WW, not so romantic lor. xD) celebrated Sou's belated birthday (the fonts are green 'coz the theme we had was green) and Earth Hour~! xD

We were walking aimlessly although me, WW and June were really trying to plan about the birthday cake for Sou. So there were many times where we looked seriously sneaky, not to mention June's SPECIAL water (Just another mineral water bottle with a rare brand name). xD Then Alin got caught into our plans too. Later we got seperated. Me, Alin and WW went cake hunting and finally it was decided, we bought...J.Co doughtnuts as a substitute. *grins* Those sweet 'lil things.. ;p

Met up with the rest at 'Forever 21' where we made Sou try on whatever we picked out for her. Unfortunately, she wouldn't let us see her in the piece June picked. xD But June ended up trying that piece herself. Looks...wow... @@ To be honest, not good.. xD Too old for the food-loving child. ;) We spent time there until dinner time. Dinner was served~ at Gasoline. A restaurant with an interesting concept which I don't really fancy unfortunately, though the food was ok. Hey, I don't like dark places. xp And yes, I'm picky. >.>

Earth Hour...we didn't see the starting of the ceremony but some of us got some 'glow-in-the-dark' lights and joined the crowd for a bit. Not too long after, some left to go home and some left to go arcade (including me xp). Hhahahaa! So supportive. Aihs.. But but...me and WW were really itching to release some stress. So.. heheheh.. *excuse excuse cough* <.<>.>

On an overall...I think it's a good start. You rarely have events that would rally global unity. =) Well done!

Once in a Blue Moon~

A rare day today I would say.. Yesterday too although not as much as today. What did I do? Read on..

Yesterday yesterday yesterday...I dropped my car off at my dad's place early morning. Went to Nirvana Memorial Park in Nilai with my dad's side of the family to pray to my late grandfather and great grandmother. It's been a long time since I'd been there. The place is a rather nice place actually. In fact, the first time I saw the place it was as good as going for a relaxing holiday. Hahahahahha! (Hey, they have to make the place peaceful for slumber, if ya know what I mean.)

Then we headed off to...some place where parking is hard to find (yes, I know. It's an excellant description that doesn't help you find the place. xp) and had lunch. It was...Bah Kut Teh... = ='ll So healthy... Sigh.. But that's what my dad likes to eat so, oh well. =x (Not to say I don't like it but but...it's....just not healthy, no? >.<)

After lunch, we headed back to my dad's apartment and...we spent about an hour trying to open his apartment's main door (He locked himself out earlier). = ='ll It sure takes patience and strenght to open the door unprofessionally (use a card to pry open the latch) and we managed to do it just before the locksmith arrived. Hahahaha. My dad and his gf actually gave up on the door much earlier but I just wanted to keep trying. Hey, you don't get to open doors that way everyday. ;p

Ah yes, it was also the first time I officially visited my dad's apartment (the unofficial one was when the apartment lacked furniture. xp). I had mixed feelings about the visit... First, horror...on the lack of cleanliness. Second, irony...the excess dirt against expensive furniture (I found mold in the piano bench. T.T). Third, awe...at the wonderful yet simple kitchen (you can't really cook in it actually since it has no stove of all sorts and the fridge is 98% empty). Lastly, nostalgia...well, he did use many furniture from the previous house. But the first impression still overrules the others. >.<'lll

The rest of the day was nothing much. Just went out with my mom, got home late and suddenly remembered that I'd not done my homework. = = So I ended up sleeping late and got up ALMOST late (oddly I reached school much earlier as compared to other days. Oo'll). And so we began today...

Hm...it was a rather cooling day, the weather I mean. And it somehow set a relaxing mood for the entire day. Yes, something you don't get very often in the city. I went for class and left immediately after that. Went home for lunch and rested abit.

Left the house again with mom to a small warehouse sale in Bangsar. Got some shirts after much rummaging (the lady didn't sort the clothes really well and the place was small). My, I should salute the lady there. At her age (assuming retiring age), she wears much more groovy stuff as compared to youngsters. *jawdrop* Geng..

Next stop was Mid Valley. Mom left the car to wash and we walked around tiredly looking for food. And...we ended up in Red Box for the next few hours. Yes! Imagine that! Me going for karaoke. How rare! Hahahah! But the deal was good. You get to sing off tune and eat too. =p The queer day's happiness lasted until here 'coz the next thing ruined my mood for the rest of the night although it didn't ruin the day totally.

Mom went to meet a friend at CoffeeBean as that friend wanted to show her his daughter. I was in the mood to shop for books and was looking around in MPH. I had a book in my hand that I wanted to buy and was looking at another that I was contemplating the purchase. Then my mom called my handphone asking me to come out and see the little girl. I absentmindedly walked out of MPH looking for my mom, still on the phone and HOLDING THE BOOK. Voila! The security guards came after me and thought I was attempting to steal the book.

I wasn't even paying enough attention to even notice the guard beside me requesting back for the book until seconds later. Even then, I just hand the book over and was about to walk off to meet my mom. But...the security guard insisted I follow to a back room to receive what seems to be a disciplinary act. My mom followed too since she saw what happened. Signed some form that says I won't repeat the act again, blah blah blah... And I still bought the book, although with a less satisfactory feeling now. Sigh..

So yes, that's what happened today.
