It’s been a while (as it always seems to be anyway). So let’s start with updating with sequels.
Japanese Karaoke Competition Finals @ ParkRoyal Hotel
Chill people. I didn’t get through the auditions. Phew! xD
But I went to support the event anyway. It was interestingly wonderful yet painful to the ears. Fun to watch (especially the performances by the teachers), sing-a-long (to Japanese lyrics) and practise a little foreign half-past-6 conversation with lots of sign languages. Hahaha! It was cool.
YES2 Business Challenge Judging Session @ Taylor’s Lakeside Campus
Correct, we got into Top 12 out of 31 teams from the last Judging Session. Had lots of work and even a presentation to do in between these two sessions. And definitely lots of last minute work on my end. >.>
We were the 3rd last to present and we did quite well I would say. It’s simply defined “Short and Sweet”. I hope we can acheive the same effect next round. You heard me, we got through this round too. So we’re officially the Top 6 Finalists.
Sounds great! More work, here we come...
In a summary, I believe we’ll be having our own little business very soon. Can’t imagine it really, but it’s true.
Oh yes, special thanks to Sam for lending me her wonderful jacket for the presentation. I wish I could keep it. xD =p Thanks anyway. ^^
ACCA Sports Day @ Sunway Uni
Hahaha... Me, Owen, Kheng Mai and James all “semangat” go practise on Monday at 3K Sports Centre. The little tournament was on Sunday. Just the day before it, I hurt my neck at Kendo. The university people wanted participants to reach by 7.30AM for registration!! Crazy!
So I woke...could have went for it, but I decided to pull out last minute for the sake of my neck (excuses...) and much needed rest (had been having early mornings and late nights the whole week). All that only to wake up later to read Owen’s sms that I could have won something due to the lack of female badminton players, so I automatically got into semi-finals. Grrr!! - - Not my luck I guess.
