Ahhh~ and Ugh!

Hahaha I wonder how much worse can my post titles get. xD We'll see, we'll see. =p

Anyway, I'd been on a spending spree (I won't say shopping spree) lately. >.< Very painful to bear but probably necessary...at least the major expenses are. >.> Here's a list of things I bought the past few days:

  • Dell Inspiron Mini 10" netbook. Hopefully it'll help me to earn some income on the go.
  • Netbook bag. The netbook was a heavy investment, so better get something to protect it. >.< Makes it easier to carry too.
  • External DVD Burner. Well...netbooks don't come with a CD driver. So this sure helps with software installations...to some extend.
  • Business jacket. Something that would serious come in handy. Now I don't have to keep looking for jackets to borrow. >.< Took me few hours to decide between two jackets. >.>
  • BOOKS. (Yes, I bought another one!) No matter what...it was these purchases that made me the happiest. <.<>.> ^^
Other than buying stuff, last night I was contemplating whether to study EARLY in the morning or go for Kendo in the evening. Heheheh.... I ended up doing neither. >.> I just spent my whole day at Mid Valley.
The Jobstreet's 9th Malaysia Training and Career Fair was crazy!! So crowded!! There was trouble finding parking too! >.< (But me and mom have our little ways. >p) This was the other place I spent hours at other than shopping. It was great. =) I got to see how the industries were and the people in them.

Ok, apart from horrid long hours of walking in boots. Out of Mid Valley, I found my favourite coffee place! San Francisco Coffee at The Sphere, Bangsar South!! Now I can find my favourite tea and sandwiches at any time. ^^v Oh yeah, The Sphere itself has a fantastic atmosphere and utmost fantastic architectural designs. (I probably haven't dig deep enough. =p)

Tomorrow is time to study and work. >.< Rawr~!

My Medical History...Not Literally

Just decided to talk about an interest of mine. Science.

School Days

I love science. Seriously. I scored better in science than my accounts in SPM. I ponder about science stuff and hang out with science stream people, occasionally flipping through their textbooks. (Oddly I never touched their physics books >.<)

I was very much enthusiatic about science classes, especially the experiments and reports. Though put me in a pure science class and I could probably create havoc. I might just blow a test tub or two or kill something by accident, just to name a few. =p The closest to havoc in general science class was probably getting caught in huge amounts of bad gas (I don't remember the nature of it) and running out with a friend to cough, sputter and restore good oxygen (so-called, it's polluted but it was definitely better than that gas) to our lungs. ^^v

But...I didn't enter science stream 'coz I couldn't think of any possible careers within that field. I was wrong...but...probably a very very good choice anyway. Why? Read on. (Note: To those who have read about human errors in the medical field, what you are about to read may just give you the same feeling. Hahahah!)

Lady Torso

Today I was at a workshop where I learned about 6 healing sounds. Basically you just use your own voice to heal your internal organs. It's probably like accupuncture without needles. No pain, of course. Really easy, really good. But that's not what I want to talk about really.

Now, the speaker, Dr Jannie, a nice young-old lady. Haha I said young-old 'coz she's elderly but looks really good for her age. Cute too. =p She brought a mannequin named, Lady Torso. It's basically a model of the female body, inclusive of detachable organs. ;p She used it to show us, the audience, where each organ was. (Yeah, it was more than a sound workshop. It was anatomy class too. xD) And since they were detachable, Dr Jannie accidentally popped most of the organs out by accident when she propped up Lady Torso to stand straight on the table. xD All the organs fell out and on to the ground...ploop ploop ploop ploop~ xD

Dr Jannie's friend picked up all the organs and simply just chucked them on the figure without properly placing them back in. Yeah, it wasn't a nice sight. I won't want any of my organs looking like Picasso's masterpieces. Hahahahah!! So I got the chance to fix Lady Torso up. *grins* It was like playing Lego...though this was much nicer than Lego. xD I managed the lungs before I was diverted away and my mom took over.

She has about just as much interest in anatomy as I do but wasn't so sure with the body structure. So she took out EVERYTHING. xD xD xD When I got back... *jawdrop*

Me: Mom! What are you doing?
Mom: Oh. I just decided to strip her of her organs to have a better look.

@@ xD xD xD

We got most of the organs back in. The last part was tricky, where does the spleen go? We took quite awhile, figuring where to put it but we just couldn't get it. So I asked Dr Jannie's friend who was formally a nurse, what is the function of the spleen? She said it was almost useless like the appendix. So.... I decided, "Let's just leave the spleen out. Lady Torso doesn't need it." xD xD xD

Yup. That's why it was a really good choice that I didn't go in to science stream. I could've done some serious damage to my poor patients. xD

We got her back in one piece anyway. Yay! ;p Now I wish I could do that all over again. xD It was fun.

Theme Hospital

When I was younger, I use to play this "Sims"-like game, Theme Hospital. Basically you run the hospital, build rooms, hire doctors and other staff, etc. The game is really really cool. =D Plus it has some really sick jokes too. xD However, I could never finish the game. I always end up dying at Level 5 or something. =( Not surprising anyway at the rate how I'm running the hospital. xD

1. I work my staff to death. If they work slow, take too much breaktime, ask for salary increaments too often = I sack them. No excuses. xD

2. My patients can get really sick. That they end up vomitting all over the place and probably end up dying on a pile of their own vomit as Death comes for them. xD Yup, I probably have the highest death rate amongst hospitals. xD Sometimes I even have to send patients home just 'coz I don't have enough resources to cure them. They'll probably die on their way home. Oops... <.<>.>

3. I don't have proper building structure. Most of the rooms could probably cram up together and the patients might just get stuck at the corridor on their way to the toilet. xD

Well..I probably have more but the first is enough to ruin a real hospital. xD And it's probably why I'm in to accounts now. xD

So this concludes why it was a really good thing that I didn't enter in to science stream. xD You may all sleep soundly tonight. xD xD xD

As A Kid...

Ever pondered back and wondered about the silly little things we do as kids back then? Or coincidentally noticed a kid doing something you probably had done when you're much younger? Well, most probably not very often since most of our lives are hectic with schedules and whatnots. We've finally evolved into the adults that we once use to look up to, wondering what's wrong with them. Now we know! Hahah!!

Yeah, so I think it's good that every individual take some time off once in awhile, say with a cup of coffee or tea, and just relax. Ponder back and smile at the little silly things that we once did as a child. Or maybe go out with a group of friends and just share. =)

So here! I'm gonna start sharing whether you wanna read it or not. xD (I sound like as if I'm making it an obligation to read. =p) Hm...I was driving yesterday to college and I suddenly wondered as I look at the cars on the opposite road...that when I was much younger, I use to look out of the back glass and stare at the car behind. I bet the drivers must have thought either "What a cute kid.. (no I'm not trying to boast. xD Just a probability of what might have crossed the driver's mind) Shall we say hi?" or "What's wrong with that kid staring at me like that..." Hahahha!! Wanna know what's going on? Here's the truth:

I was actually staring at the headlights. I never took notice of the drivers or any other humans in the car. XD XD XD When the headlights are on at night, it seems to give personality to the car. Like...the headlights make the car looks angry or cool or etc. =O Yeah...my imagination. =p But maybe that's one of the factors that makes a car look more attractive than the other. Vios!! *drools* xD

Hm..we can be silly even as adults. Especially when we say something wrong. =p Just the other day I saw a Vios pass by when I was in my mom's car. Then I told my mom that I like the Vios. She asked why. My answer: "Because it looks like a Toyota. ....wait a minute...it IS a Toyota!!" xD XD XD Silly me. =p

But it's the sillyness that keeps people laughing no? ^^ Of course, don't purposely go trip over something la. xD That one ah...aiyo...I 'no eye see' lor. xD Ok la. That's all for today. ^^ I'll just end it with a picture of...a VIOS!! >D

Likes: Ultraman!! (olo)

Yesh!! I like Ultraman. =3 But I like the cute miniature ones best. ^^ And they must be of perfect proportion, if not I won't like either. =O =p I once got an Ultraman plush from Yin Khuan and Yin Yi. ^^ It head was bigger than the body and it had a sweatdrop too. =D Too bad I can't get a picture. T.T It's...somewhere in the house. <.<>.> My aunt kept it away for me. >.<

Anyway, Ultraman existed even before I was born!! =O Geng.. And many were created since the first and they kept getting more...leng chai. xD I mean...the old ones really look like 'ham dan' or salty egg inEnglish. And they were rather wrinkly. =x Now they have more colours on their uniform and they looked...well ironed. =p =D Although so...the enemies are still so stiff. =x But nevermind la, they aren't important. xD

Since Ultraman originated from Japan, the actors have a custom of praying before any shooting. *nod nod* =3

They also attend certain functions or events. =D Ultraman in formal wear!! ^^

And lastly before I sleep... Gehehehehe... *drum roll*..

TADAA!! One last picture. =p Goodnight. (olo)

(Edited)

I forgot to add this in. Saw this car in SS2 one day. =p Just couldn't resist and had to take a picture of it. Wakakakaka~!! I told my mom I wanted one but she said it's not worth spending on the current Kenari. *nod nod* How true.. >.< So I'll just stare at other people's car for now!! =D *grins, stare~~ stare~~ stare~~*
